GradCRU Staff

Chuck and Dianne Roeper: Chuck and Dianne both serve as full-time staff with GradCRU. Chuck, originally from west Michigan, has a degree in Architecture (from U-M), a Master of Divinity (Trinity Evangelical Divinity School), and a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies (Cultural Anthropology/Ethnology/Education). Dianne comes from southeast Minnesota and has a degree in Education. They especially value close friendships and mentoring/discipling graduate students to help them grow spiritually in their walk with the Lord.

Jane (Yu-Chen) Girard: Jane first served as an Intern with GradCRU at U-M from 2009 to 2011. Since then she has served as full-time staff with GradCRU. She was married in July 2012 to Brandon Girard. Originally from Taiwan, Jane has her degree from U-M in Psychology and Economics and her Master degree in Accounting. She worked for three years as a Certified Public Accountant in Ann Arbor before starting as an Intern with GradCRU. Jane’s focus is with International graduate students at U-M.

 

Mike and Amy Gray: Both Mike and Amy have served full-time with CRU, the parent organization of GradCRU for a number of years. Most recently they have been at the University in Buffalo, New York (lots of snow!) and other campuses in the Buffalo area. They moved to Ann Arbor to serve with GradCRU starting Winter Semester 2013. Mike is from south central Ohio and Amy from east of Columbus, Ohio. Mike has his degree in Mass Communication (with a focus on Media and Politics) from Miami University (Ohio) and Amy from the University of Dayton in Chemical Engineering. Their two and a half year old daughter, Katie, is a wonderful joy to them!
