Fall GradCru Day Retreat

Come to the fall GradCru Day Retreat to focus on your relationship with the Lord and to connect with other graduate students who experience many of the same challenges as you to living an authentic Christian life in the midst of the University. We will consider who we are “in Christ” and how it makes a difference in our lives as students and scholars.

GUEST SPEAKER: We have the privilege to be taught by and interact with our guest speaker, Randy Newman. Randy earned his Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and currently is working on his Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies (Cultural Anthropology, Education). He is a frequent speaker and has authored two books, including his well received, Questioning Evangelism: Engaging People’s hearts the Way Jesus Did.

The GradCru Day Retreat will be held at a home near U-M in the Village of Dexter, MI. There is a large great room, fireplace, sofa — casual and cozy. Three teaching times by Randy, guided discussions, a seminar, worship times, personal stories from graduate students — and snacks and lunch, too.

TIMES: Saturday, October 2 from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm

COST: $20/person, $30/married couple. Price includes snacks and lunch.

REGISTRATION: Click here to register online at GradCru.org/umich/registration no later than Tuesday midnight, September 28. Graduate students from other universities are welcome.

MORE INFORMATION: Email info.umich@gradcru.org for more information.
